Withdrawing your consent to the processing of your data

Many data processing activities are only possible with your express consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Sending us an email message to this effect is sufficient. The legality of all data processing taking place before receipt of the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to object to direct advertising (Article 21 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR))

When data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 (1), point e or f of the GDPR, you have the right at any time, for reasons based on your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You can determine the legal basis on which data is being processed on the basis of the information within this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data that was the subject of your objection unless we are able to provide compelling and legitimate grounds for such processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Article 21 (1) of the GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for the purposes of providing direct advertising, you have to right to object to this processing of any personal data pertaining to you for the purposes of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as this is related to such direct advertising. Should you object, your personal data will then no longer be used for the purposes of direct advertising (objection pursuant to Article 21 (2) of the GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority

In the event that there are violations of the GDPR, the affected party has the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State in which they are habitually resident, have their place of employment, or which is the location of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have any data that is automatically processed on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract transferred to you or to a third party in a standard machine-readable format. Insofar as you request the transfer of data to another responsible party, this shall only take place to the degree that it is technically feasible.

Information, blocking, deletion and rectification

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, the origin and recipients thereof, and the purpose for which this data has been processed, as well as a right to the rectification, blocking or deletion of this data if applicable. Should you have any further questions regarding personal data, you can use the address found under ‘Publishing details’ to contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of processing

You also have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted. If you wish to do so, you can use the address found under ‘Publishing details’ to contact us at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

If you believe that the personal data we have saved for you is incorrect, we generally require some time to make a determination in this regard. You have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted during the period in which we conduct this determination.

WIn the event that your personal data either was or is being processed unlawfully, you can demand that data processing be restricted rather than request deletion of the data..

If we no longer require your personal data, but you require this data in order to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of requesting the deletion of the data.

If you have submitted an objection pursuant to Article 21 (1) of the GDPR, it will be necessary to weigh your interests against our interests. Until such point as a determination has been made as to whose interests should take precedence, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – with the exception of its storage – may only be processed with your consent or in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons arising from important public interests of the European Union or of one of its Member States.

Objection to advertising emails

The use, for the purposes of sending advertising or information materials that have not been expressly requested, of contact data made public as part of the obligation to provide publishing details is hereby prohibited. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event that advertising information, such as spam emails, should be sent without this being requested.
